It makes monthes if not years that i wanted to buy a tent - things went faster since the announcement of the burningdork and even faster since we planned to get out of london for weekends. Finally i choosed a cheaper tent (well a couple of pound cheaper) so it was the perfect occasion to (finally) put my hands on one of those wonders called gps… so after some reading, this morning, i went with Amandine (who did the illustration on top) to get my brand new gps unit - a gecko 201. I managed to connect it to the powerbook via the keyspan usb 2 serial (macs have not anymore serial port since ages - making me feel even older than i am now, weird) and tested it with a couple of software. so far this amazing thing is absolutely fantastic and i will post later about the stuff i might discover, software, hacks, uses …

  6. The Bunkery

«we provide cultural containers» is the bottom line.

The Bunkery is the name of the studio shared by Alexandre Bettler and Jérôme Rigaud on top of Hoxton street. The studio just got enlarged by an additionnal and amazing top flour: we grabbed the shop space which was formerly used by Flour Power, the bakery making french bread (no surprise as aalex is one of the specialist of bread and design). We are now in the process of offering desks/workspace for £140/month. If you are interrested, mail or phone one of us, arrange a meeting and come have a look, take some of your best productions/works and let’s have a chat with a delicious cofee.
    happy people, happy bunkery!
